***I was rather touched by old Sandy Berger seeming to give Condi a bit of sympathetic attention.***
I missed the 60 Minutes interview. Was it really bad? I saw a really short clip on one of the alphabet shows but didn't hear what they said. That Bradley dude really annoys me with his smirk and silly earring.

The editing job on 60 Mins. was really a hatchet job. It makes it clear why the Dems want Condi to testify in public.
Bradley would give a "speech" accusing her of all sorts of evil doings, and then they would cut off her answer after just a few seconds.
That's just what they want to be able to do to her, and W if she does give in, in the hearings.
The only thing that made me happy about that interview is that my Lib friends also saw it as unfair.

I didn't think Condi was bad at all on the 60 minutes interview. I was on the live thread and a lot of people seemed to be disappointed, but I think they wanted her to be what's she's not.
They wanted her to slam Clarke and she is ladylike and soft-spoken. She was perfectly convincing, but she wasn't going to go ballistic just to please some of the fire-eaters on the forum.
Don't worry about Ed bothering you, he looks like they propped him up from the morgue to do the interview ... which I thought was a bit of an insult in itself. As though only a black guy could interview her.
How patronizing is that?
