"in 25 years we'll look back on a Viet Nam free of communism." He's off by some years, but not entirely. My daughter visited Vietnam a few weeks ago. The South has thrown off most of the shackles of Stalinism and has become a favorite tourist destination for Europeans. Kind of a pre-Castro Cuba in Southeast Asia.
The North has gotten pretty much what it deserves. The worst of capitalist sweatshops (ala China) plus the worst of Communist repression.
