I think you may be right....if CBS thought they had a *gotcha* moment in this interview, they would have been promoting it all day long...thanks for clearing my head...I was/always in a defensive mode when it comes to the rats.

She's already met with them for several hours and is willing to meet with them for more time.

The only reason they, being the rats on the panel, want Condi to testify in public, is to try to trip Condi up on some detail to humilate her on national tv...that's jmho though.

I just finished watching it. I thought Condi held her own. Especially her explaining how the terrorist didn't expect our response with all out war on them. Their continued hits against American interests from Beirut to seeing the US leave Somalia. Their arrogance of thinking they were winning and we would do nothing.

I also come away with the idea of Clark apologizing for the Clinton administration's failure and Clark's failure during that time for not doing his job.

No matter how it's retold, Clark is just more consequences of an impeached Clinton administration. Only God knows how much we will continue to reap from 8 years of the Clinton's perjury and obstruction.

They want Condi to testify in public because it's payback for Clinton having to testify - that's all this is. It's a lame attempt by the democrats to try to prove they are still in charge. Everything is payback for what the repubs did to the dems by going after Clinton - everything!!

I would never allow Condi to testify in public - irregardless of what John Kerry or anybody else says. Let'm pound sand.
