Baloney! If anything, the officer who pulls you over will know they're safer because the license plate # tells them the car belongs to someone with a CHL and that person has a "clean" record or couldn't get a license to carry in the first place.

The few times I've been pulled over, I hand them my CHL card along with my driver's license and car insurance cards. They're always curious to know what make I'm carrying (K&H 40 Compact).

Then they write me a warning ticket and I'm on my way.

People need to realize that the police usually arrive after the commission of a crime and rarely prevent a crime. Your personal safety if up to you.

Not for those who borrowe cars, drive company cars, or (wisely) hold their vehicles in an out-of-state LLC.
