Did he just refute his comment about Bush's war in Iraq underminding the war on terrorism?
Clarke just said that the U.S. shouldn't wait to determine who was responsible for a terrorist attack on us, that we should strike out at whomever we deemed as a threat?

Ben Veniste perceives no differences in the book and other items.
Notice how they refer to Clarke's meetings also in private with them but act like they've never set eyes on Condi. And just as I type that Ben Veniste makes a sarcastic comment about her again.
Deceitful--and did I hear Clark make a disparaging remark about her?
