If it was VVAW, Kerry could've saved him had he reported it. Even if it wasn't VVAM, he might have been saved. Had Kerry reported the threats against the senators' lives, they would've had body guards who could've protected them against street thugs too.

How does this prove Kerry's culpability? Two black men rob a Senator and Kerry is somehow involved? Why would an assassination group send two amateurs when they have expert marksman available?
