Corporations in the US and other countries routinely have governments use is power for their means. Whether it is adjust tax policy, a subsside, or a tariff to protect markets. See steel tariff. I am just saying that I want the government to start setting economic policy in a way that benefits the middle class first.

I agree corporations do that routinely, and I am totally opposed to it. By all means let's get rid of corporate welfare, targeted tariffs like the steel fiasco, export subsidies, etc.. But I don't think more government meddling will help the middle class in the long run.
