Whatever the legal outcome, there is a powerful lesson in this.
Yes, the woman's a lying leftist. That's a powerful lesson.

Doh... if there weren't such a lack of real victims, then there wouldn't be the fabrications in the first place!

What about the people blamed for the fake hate crimes?

I'm seriously trying to recall any conservative (or even right wing extremists) who have been found out trying to pull off a phony stunt for their side.
Does anyone remember anything. The leftists get caught at it all the time.

And in New Jersey, two Sikh teenagers who wanted short hair, cut it, and told their parents that a gang had yanked off their turbans and cut their hair off, and naturally the parents called the police...
Credit to the Sikh families and temple, when the truth came out they were ashamed and apologetic, instead of going on about how this really illustrated some larger truth of racism, and the young men are facing up to the consequences of their lie.

How do we know that this Dunn woman isn't responsible for the other incidents that have occurred at the Claremont colleges lately?
I think she IS more than likely the culprit who has been playing both sides. Racist, and victim of racism.
She's obviously a mentally deranged leftist, liberal. People like her need to get the hell off our college campuses and keep their filthy ideologies away from our kids.

The next day, all five of the Claremont Colleges canceled classes for teach-ins and rallies against hate crimes.
I'd sue these SOBs for theft and fraud. The students paid for specific classes. Cancelling these classes robbed them of the education they paid for. If I wanted to bang pots, wring my hands and attend Marxist indoctrination camps, I'd join the Rat party.

This is classic revolutionary hatred think Bolsheviks, Nazis, Khmer Rouge, Robert Mugabe when stories such as these appear. From Dunn straight to violence with scarcely a stopover thru "non-violence." One day one of these stunts will produce a pogrom and some hapless white person will take the brunt of their hate. And then the left will instead of making apologies will make justifications instead.

I just saw this at a
blog I sometimes read. It's posted by Ernesto Cienfuegos of Voz de Aztlan, so take it for what it's worth.
...Now, it appears that Professor Dunn has a significant "rap sheet" for prior crimes. While living in Lincoln, Nebraska, the professor accumulated arrests for shoplifting, possessing stolen property, refusing to comply with a police officer's orders, driving on a suspended license, failing to appear in court and other crimes.
Hmmmmm. Looks like she
may have priors afterall. Too bad Mr. Cienfuegos did not post more about the source of his information and how old these offenses are. A petty criminal and scofflaw with a license to practice law (in Louisiana).
Curiouser and curiouser...

"I cringe when this stuff happens," said Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino. "... In the broad universe of these crimes, far more go unreported than falsely reported." Um, how can he state this for a fact, when the unreported hate crimes are, well, UNREPORTED!

After all, your paycheck depends on it, right? You foul, stinking fraud.

Since she's an alumna of UNL, I did a quick on campus search. I found one reference that dates to her time here, a contribution to a conference. Looks like her interest in 'victimhood' is long-standing.
