By that time China will be the leading economy and Asia will be the leading civilization.

That is BS, China is having problems controling their own people, add to that a economic crash and you have a revolution.

Really? I beg to differ, there is no crash immanent. We on the other hand will have immense social problems as we descend into a sort of Brazil. They seem to be doing just fine "controlling" their own people and they have 4 thousand year history of doing so. I truly doubt that China will ever be a democratic nation.

People in the West seem to think that there is a "crash" looming on the horizon in China. There is none is sight - China is booming and the PRC is diligently working on reform (but not the political sort that the West assumes that they will move too.) They are feverishly working on developing an internal market and with a quarter of the world's population how can they not succeed?

This "Chinese Crash" syndrome is wishful thinking. Best we worry about the "crash" of our civilization over here due to "Globalism." Short of losing a thermo-nuclear war they will do guite well - better than us if we do not see what is happening.

From what I've read, China is not economically stable.
