As much as I want this to be true, it must be overstated. There are non-Iranians in Iran, including foreign journalists. If this was anything approaching the levels of Tianamen Square, big name press agencies would be all over it.

The Brits, French and Germans support the Mullahs. Kerry supports the Mullahs.

Why would the media want to rock the boat?

Bush put Iran on the Axis of Evil list, and the media won't forget it. Iran can't be evil! Theocracies aren't evil, just different! One man's terrorist is another man's...

The media CHOSES which stories America learns about. Nothing new.

I believe that this 'rebellion' is going on in the northern areas of Iran. The journalists are all in Teheran, where the good restaurants are, and aren't exposed to it yet.
