Well you made it seem as if teh Serb swent gunning for Albanian when in reality after the shooting yesterday the Serbs were afraid of Albanian attempts to kill more Serbs. In fact the quickly organized Albanian mob indicates that the Albanian mobs were on standby.

Update: the Albanians from all over the Kosovo are moving by buses towards Chaglavica. Serbs and KFOR troops together are holding their positions there, still noone knows for how long.
In Mitrovica it's calm right now, but the Albanians are regrouping. UNMIK declared curfew, but the Serbs on the norther side don't want to leave cause Albanians could storm over the river again.
In Prizren the Albanians torched another church, and in Gnjilane one Serb has been beaten to death. Serbs fled from surrounding villages and their homes are on fire. And there's rioting in eastern parts of Kosovo as well.
It looks like the big push to drive the remaining Serbs out of Kosovo. It's not an isolated incident, it's happening all over Kosovo (Mitrovica is in the north, Belo Polje in the west, Prizren in the south, Chaglavica is central part).
BTW UNMIK denied Albanian allegations, it looks like the kids weren't "chased by the Serbs with the dogs". Furthermore, it seems that kid who survived is actually son of the local UÇK commander Qerkin Veseli.

"BTW UNMIK denied Albanian allegations"
You have links to this. Can anyone get the initial reports and police logs for this case? Was there any report of a dog chasing children at all. Or a child who escaped after being in the river and trying to save his brother who slipped off his back. If this were really the case, then there'd be police interviewing a soaked child, or coming to this kids' house as the search began to get the exact spot where the incident allegedly happened. What time of day did it happen?

Some 70-80 KFor soldiers have been killed in Kosovo and Metohija the last 4 years
KFOR has arrested virtually the entire KLA leadership and this has reduced the attacks on KFOR

Stage 1: KLA terrorizes Albanians
Stage 2: KLA terrorizes non-Albanians
Stage 3: KLA murders over 1,000 ALbanians
Stage 4: KLA murders some 2,000 non-Albanians
Stage 5: KFOR arrests KLA leadership
==================================
The sucessionist Albanians never ever tried to resolve the issue of soverignty peacefully. They deemed any association with the government as traitorous.
Albanians who sent their children to multi-enthic schools were murdered by the KLA
Albanians who worked in such innocent jobs as forest ranger, post man were murdered as collaborators by the KLA
Albanian shopkeepers who sold goods to non-Albanians were murdered by the KLA
==================
The sucessionist leaders didn't vote in elections, they didn't attend negotiation sessions. It is the height of mis-information to suggest that the sucessionists practiced peaceful negotiation

It sounds as if this is organized before hand.
The children being chased by dogs is merely a red herring planted to obscure the well planned events.
Odd that the 75,000 UNMIK-KFOR internationals are so cowardly to prevent this.

I meant: Do you have links to the UNMIK denial? My bad, UN police force in Kosovo, not UNMIK (though they are part of that mission).
Something on the b92.net site, but more on the pages in Serbian.
Same thing on bbc.co.uk - version in serbian vs. version in english.

UN police confirm two children drowned, third missing
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Wednesday
The bodies of two ethnic Albanian boys have been found in the Ibar River, not far from Kosovska Mitrovica, UN police have confirmed.
Police spokesman Derek Chappell said a search was continuing for a third boy reported missing.
Chappell said he was shocked at certain Albanian media reports on how the children died, some of which have said they died after being chased by Serb youths.
An investigation is underway into how the children came to be in the river, he told Beta news agency.
The two boys were aged nine and 12.
News of the deaths has prompted fierce clashes in Mitrovica between Serbs and Albanians.

Of the 70-80 deaths how many are from hostile fire and how many are accidents, suicides etc?

PRISTINA -- Wednesday - UNMIK spokesman Derek Chappell
said tonight that the survivor of yesterday's Ibar
River drowning has told his parents that he and three
friends entered the river alone and were immediately
caught up in the heavy current.
The boy managed to reach the opposite bank of the
river, but his three companions were swept away.
The incident happened at about 4.30 p.m. and police
began a search of the river about an hour and a half
later. Two bodies have been found so far.
Today's violent incidents around Kosovo were sparked
after claims that the boys had been chased into the
river by Serbs with a dog.
Chappell told media in Pristina tonight that this was
definitely not true according to the account of the
surviving boy.
