Miami-Dade County Police spokesman Ed Munn says the white female who was in her 50's had a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He says it appears to be a suicide. Munn said the woman was not the INS official who participated in the Elian Gonzalez raid. The body was discovered on the expressway by a passer-by.
