those of us who keep track of things with an honest heart know this well.

Khashayar.. I tell you I have a heavy heart. I am much older than you are...and a very good friend of mine - since we were 9 years old - and I are estranged over politics.

He after college & graduate school went into the peace corps. He was in Iran for 8 years. Married a wonderful Iranian woman & they have 3 smart & gorgeous children. They live in Boston.

He is very liberal & hates Bush & hates what the USA is doing in Iraq & ..well, I could go on & on. Most of us here posting now, have friends like that.

It is so good for me to see you here as a young student & the future of your country.. why maybe the president someday of a free country.. wouldn't that be great?

I am sorry, I am blubbering off subject I know doc Z is interested in all the facts.. me too.. but the human side is so impt.

and also.. I recommended amovie to doc Z.. you prolly wont get it in your country.. It is powerful. In an arabic dialect w/subtitles...... a beautiful but sad tale which I am sure is similar to what is happening in your country.

well, I tell you what. When you become president there.. we will come visit you & bring the movie & we will all enjoy it, lift a glass of "adult beverage" in celebration & thank God for the blessings for your people.

I pray for the people in the mideast daily....God's creations under such awful circumstances. We are so blessed in our country. and most of the people do NOT appreciate it.
