The leftists including communists (Medea Benjamin of Code Pink), religious left, and the usual suspects of useful idiots have this obscene protest from Dover AFB in Delaware to Walter Reed Hospital (where most Iraq war wounded go) and the White House in DC.

Calling on all FReepers and patriots to show up at Walter Reed to counter-protest the leftists tomorrow, Monday morning outside Walter Reed Hospital. Leftists plan to start at 9 am. If possible, FReepers should arrive by 8 to 8:30.

Later in the day, we'll counter-protest them at the White House.

Directions and details will follow on this thread.

Usual DC Chapter rules in effect. Briefly, No violence, no obscenities, no racism, obey and respect police officers, don't stand in street or block sidewalks. Detailed rules here.

Kristinn had posted about this event on our spring activism thread, but I talked to him earlier today and this thread is a reminder to people.

For the leftists to go to Walter Reed Hospital, where many of the most seriously wounded troops from the Iraq war are being treated, is beyond obscene. What's next, demonstrating at funerals of Iraq war dead?

Please help us counter this outrage!

I only wish I had paid more attention and knew the (expletives deleteds) were gong to be in Dover today....I would have been up their supporting the great work of Doctor Raoul.
