"we must begin the reconnaissance of a newly discovered, and hitherto uncharted swath of real estate in our solar system called the Kuiper Belt, of which, Pluto reigns as king."

Yas, we must explore Pluto and Sedna, our splendid new possessions.

Can we afford to wait? Oh, that's the slogan of global warming or some such stupid theory.

I agree we should explore Pluto and Sedna. I would volunteer to do the 40 year trip each way,but I don;t know if they could stock enough Heinekin and shrimp in the cargo hold for me to survive. ANd while we're at it, we could also do a deep probe of your Uranus (we could use funds allocated to current black hole research). Uranus, not mine. Okay, I promise to stop now :)

:') The Pluto probe has been off again on again for at least four years. Pretty soon launching it will be a waste of money, as the atmosphere of Pluto will have refrozen (provided it was ever there).
