On behalf of CPT Padgett, to whom I'll be forwarding this, thank you for the kind words, and the inclusion in the Canteen Sunday.
Psalm 23:4 is the unofficial motto of of the 234th:
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of Death, I shall fear no evil, for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.

Thank You Sarge.

Thank him for me, too Sarge. A friend's pastor is in the Army Reserves and was called up to Iraq as a chaplain. He's now back, but still mobilized at Ft. Knox. It's so good to know those guys are there when you soldiers need 'em!
Read Psalm 91. It's perfect!

Greetings, Canteeners, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!Sarge is off watch for a day or two. And just about to turn in for the night.
But the time here wouldn't be complete, without thanking the Canteen Staff for including CPT Padgett's contributions. He's doing yeoman's work over there, and is bearing up to the extensions with faith.
As must we all.
I may or may not be checking in tomorrow, as it promises to be quite busy and schedule-packed at the Home Detachment. I've come to the conclusion, that I go to work to get some rest...
I'll check in if I can, but FReepmail always reaches me, eventually.
Happy Sunday, Everyone!
SARGE
