Reports from south Kashmir added that a group of unidentified but armed persons appeared at Shamsipora in Anantnag. They kidnapped three particular civilians, namely Mohammad Altaf Bhat son-in-law of Ghulam Mohammad Lone (carpet-weaver) , Arshid Hussain Bhat S/o Habibullah (painter) and a class 12th student, namely Sabzar Ahmed Bhat S/o Abdur Rasheed Bhat.
After severe torture, the gunmen fired upon the legs of Arshid Hussain and Sabzar Ahmed and left them wounded. They also chopped off both the ears of Mohammad Altaf Bhat. After the gunmen, suspected to be militants, left the village, all the three injured were rushed to Srinagar and admitted at SKIMS, Soura.

I'd like to give all the war protesters (going to protest this weekend) a personal visit with the Arshid, Sabzar and Mohammad Altaf Bhat. Let them see up close and personal what they are turning a blind eye to.
