WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.

"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

Al-Zawahiri’s arrest reports baseless: Shaukat Sultan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Military spokesman Maj. General Shaukat Sultan has said that Thursday morning before Wana operation people were given time for leaving to some secure place. Large number of people including women and children shifted to safer places after the announcement.

On a question about surrounding a high value Al-Qaeda target by the troops, Shaukat Sultan quoted President General Pervez Musharraf’s statement that president has said that the terrorists are fiercely defending their positions, which suggest presence of a high value Al-Qaeda target but he hadn’t named someone nor told about any confirmed report. He called reports regarding arrest of Aiman Al-Zawahiri baseless saying that these were speculations by media

Two add'l pieces of info making this story a possibility was interrogation of other people captured in raids in that area. As the pressure got higher on this enclave, one or more of them tried electronic communique which was picked up. Mansoor not given info on what was said, but Zawahiri's code name was given.

Cautioning viewers what could happen. These enclaves are set up with escape routes quickly lined up. Did we cordon off rings around him including tunnels etc. We should have people waiting for him at the other end.
