I want Kerry to get the nomination. I do not want the " Wicked Witch" to be brought out and dusted off at the Convention.

Don't for a minute think that the DEM candidate for president can't change after the convention. There are NO absolute rules.

Yes, that is known as "The Lousenberg Exception", the dims candidate can be replaced at any time until election day if his poll numbers are bad enough. :(

Thank you I didn't know that. I thought after a candidate secures the National Nomination, it was all over. I didn't realize they could change Candidates after the Convention.

I would rather it be brought out now, so if Kerry goes down, there is plenty of time to deal with the new candidate. After the convention may be too late.

I can see it now. Headlines revealing Kerry's murky, even traitorous past. Humiliated, he slinks off like Martha. The Wicked Witch comes on stage and accepts the nomination, and there's pandemonium in the Boston convention center. Hill is crowned as presumptive queen by the delirious press corps. She knows full well that she'd never make it through the primaries, this would be perfect for her. Most amusing really. I do hope Kerry's past comes back to haunt him big time, all the time. But, yes, I'd prefer this happening after he's nominated. And of course, the RATS could force him off the ticket if the polls found that he was a walking dead man.

True. We have seen how the dems operated in New Jersey when "The Torch" got torched. They do not give a flying Sh@t who the candidate is, or what laws they have to break, as long as they can beat Bush.
