Al Qaeda, without a doubt.
I find their constant repetition of the "crusader" cliche, so reminiscent of the communists' use of equally meaningless cliches such as "capitalist running dogs" and "imperialists" during the Cold War.
Ironically, it's been the Muslims who have oppressed Spain down through the ages, rather than vice versa. Muslim Moorish invaders persecuted Christianity in this country and others for many years before being tossed out.

Absolutely. Spain was invaded first if you want to be historically indignant. Then again, that was "infidel" land and not holy desert see.

I heard a report on Fox that there were 10 bombs in all and that they were remotely detonated.
A van was found with the remote control device and an arabic tape recording.
I have found no substantiation for this in other reports.
Has anyone else heard this claim?

Aznar has the historical inspiration of Rodrigo Diáz de Vivar "El Cid" to suggest a future couse of action if this turns out to have been Islamist.
