C'mon. That's crap. The only Irish campaign paraphernalia I've EVER seen was by candidates who are of Irish Catholic ancestry(I've never seen the Orange play it up).

If my name was Kohn, I wouldn't be using Irish-centered campaign lit. Kerry had the political advantage of having an Irish last name and certainly did not want to give that up.

That said, I'm glad he is NOT Irish since one of my ancestors is a "Carey".

Kerry wants us to believe that for 60 years,not once, not one time, did his family ever discuss their heritage-not once. Kerry wants us to believe that he was as shocked as everyone else, to discover that at age 60, he wasn't Irish, but, an Austrian Jew.

If Kerry had been adopted, this might be plausible. Kerry's grandparents must have spoken with some kind of accent and apparently, Kerry cannot tell the difference between an Irish brogue and an Eastern European accent, with Yiddish overtones. John Kerry is either a blithering idiot or a con man of the highest order.
