Not really, but I do have a dear Republican friend who is affectionately known as "The Genteel Grammarian".
She keeps all of us who post in our "home group" on our toes.
If I didn't correct that, she'd surely deprive me of my raspberry cordials and toast points.
[and possibly slap me upside the head, as well]...:))

Left to my own linguistic devices, I sound like a typical hillbilly...dangling participles and all....LOL!

I have opined for a long time that the only way, for most people, to learn to write well, is to read a lot of good writing, But as you can see it is tough to find anywhere anymore, certainly no in the news Paper.

Remember Edwin Newman? Great grammarian.
