I think Ann Coulter has become counterproductive for the conservative cause. She repeatedly allows her own inflammatory statements to become the issue, which enables liberals to avoid talking about the real issues. I think her ego has gotten too big; she seems almost self-destructive in the cavalier way she tosses out these extreme comments which garner her plenty of media attention but simultaneously allow conservatives to be branded as uncivil and inaccurate. (Yeah, yeah, I know people on the Left get away with extreme statements all the time, but we conservatives don't have that luxury. We have to play by a higher standard.)

As for Anne Coulter... the media already DOES reject her, just like they reject all conservatives. Foxnews better not give into this terrorist intimidation.

No, they think many of the things she says are boorish and ill considered, because she throws herself into a sentence and relies on bombastic rhetoric to bail her out.

She did not literally say, "Muslims smell bad," but that was the clear implication of her comment. And as a matter of fact, Muslims probably smell better than the average Christian; personal hygiene is highly valued in Islam, and perfumes and incense are important parts of Muslim culture.

CAIR, AMC, and the like have already stated their intent to vote as a bloc for any Democrat in order to defeat GW Bush. Now why is that? Because they are not partners in the war on terror.

Also, Rep. Peter King of NY is under fire for basically saying the same thing, Muslims are not serious about fighting the war on terror.

The muslims get bent out of shape because Ann implied that they smell bad. But why be so concerned about such a trivial little comment when she states things that are far more serious:
