I don't believe it's a long shot, at all....I think it is highly likely that some dems associated with this woman were also on the take.

Just checked websites/d bases of both FEC, and Open Secrets, for 1996, 98, 2000, 2002, and found no donations from Spy Chick or someone with her name, to anyone during that time. Doesn't mean there was not another route.
