Can we stop it? We can’t even stop a single snow storm. Imagine trying to stop an ice age that’s going to go on for tens of thousands of years.
Give us 50 years to develop nanotechnology and the inevitable cheap space travel that follows it, and we will stop a new ice age or ignore it and colonize the rest of the solar system as we please.
