I just received an e-mail from the Ombudsman at the Globe, as follows:

The Globe is newly aware of the alleged connection between the 9/11 ad protesters and the funds provided by Teresa Heinz Kerry, and is checking it out.

I responded, with:

Thank you, but I made the Globe "aware" of this connection on March 6, through my e-mail to Anne Kornblut - as I mentioned in my original.

Sounds like your phone call may have done it, but their excuse now will be "Oh, that's old news."

Thanks for the report. I think I've discovered what gets attention. We make the phone calls, then followup with the emails. Maybe if they only get email, they choose to simply delete it.
