Yeah, you are ofcourse right, and I agree. But I also feel that we do a great service here as well. I have noticed, in my short time here, that when something breaks and the FReepers jump on it, it winds up on the more notible web sites, radio, NY Post... Rarely do the FReepers get the credit, but that's not the point.

I really feel this is the front line, and I truly believe it makes a difference. It certainly lets all the outlets, especially lamestream know that we are here in numbers, we care, and our votes are to be dealt with; certainly the outlets care about their viewership/readership constituency.

You have to understand that my cynicism arises from years of watching media types do what they could to assist the Democrats. What Doug and others is doing is a good thing. I just don't anticipate that it will be as effective as we all hope.
