Whoa there cowboy! I understand your sense of futility, I think most of us feel that. BUT, to follow your advice is to unconditionally surrender.

No-no-no-no-no-No-NO!!!!

WE keep the pressure on,
WE keep hammering away,
WE keep reminding the media of their hypocracy,
WE are relentless in our search for truth, justice, and democracy!

And WE seem to be doing a DAMN Good Job!
Everytime they try one of their trickety tricks, WE get to the bottom, do the investigating, and exposing!

Don't you think it funny that everytime the Rats pull a trick, WE are on it in a flash, and what WE do winds up on Rush, Sean, Drudge.... sometimes making it's way to lamestream.

Don't you think that makes a difference?????

I do.

Ahhhhh, I feel much better now, coffee anyone?

No it's not. It's to realize that you have to move around the media, not tilt at windmills.

Two weeks from now, no one will be interested in skullduggery on the media's part. They will only remember that grieving families were hurt by Big Bad Bush.

However, Bush must continue along this line, and must do so relentlessly. It's a propaganda game: we have to have the constitution to stick to our general line, while the Kerry people need to throw us off our stride in order to reduce the effectiveness of Bush's vast war chest. If Bush can make the waffle meme stick, then we will win this election.

Bush's quote from yesterday's speech is instructive:

"My opponent clearly has strong beliefs -- they just don't last very long,"

Bush understands what will beat Kerry: the truth, repeated over and over and over.

A couple of stories in conservative newspapers such as the NY Post or the Washington Times do not a counteroffensive make. Liberal reporters will not get out of bed tomorrow feeling all guilt-ridden and possessed of a need to tell the story straight.

Not a chance. Propagandists are in the business of shading the truth. It's what they do for a living. Bush understands that he must go around the media to beat the media's candidate.

Be Seeing You,

Chris
