Thanks for advice about wasting my time. It made it much easier for me to read being in a large bold font.

You are my hero!

I've been grumbling all weekend about this obvious media bias. I've emailed O'Reilly and double dog dared him to run with this story,(complete with all your links - full credit given to the original posters). He was all over the charities after 9-11.

Brit did some good reporting tonight on Special Report. He reported on Kerry wanting to defer his Vietnam service for a year and on the Veterans groups that are NOT for Kerry.

I'm not holding my breath for ABC, CBS, or NBC however. Nor CNN. But we've got to take what we can get.

Brit's my other hero :)

I know you don't want to hear it, but they will ignore you.

They will make the incident disappear. It is what they are good at.

If anything happens to come of this, I will consider it a good thing to apologize to you. Sadly, I don't think it will.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Doug, ignore section9. You've already learned that the squeaky wheel gets oiled. Until you get in and mix it up you don't know what works and what doesn't.

A few months ago every article about every soldier killed in Iraq said something to the effect that the US was losing a soldier per day and that the bulk of the deaths were since Bush's trip to the aircraft carrier. I started calling, emailing, and writing them all to say that we have suffered 60 deaths in something like 115 days, how did that average one per day, and what was the significance of the aircraft carrier visit to that.

None of them knew. They had done the math when there were something like 27 losses in 30 days and nobody had bothered to keep track after that. They all just kept repeating the same old thing. Nobody really could come up with a reason why the aircraft carrier visit was significant either and son of a bitch if shortly after those phone calls and emails that stuff didn't disappear.

They would always ask me if belonged to some organization or somebody had told me to do this and I'd always answer and tell the truth, "I'm just a regular guy, and I'm curious why you would say those things when they weren't true or didn't have a purpose."

It was kind of interesting because after I had convinced AP New York desk that the first one wasn't true and the second one wasn't significant, they quit using them, and it pretty much faded out.

I don't know if I helped correct those things or not, but I didn't hurt.
