[history]
No decision I have ever made in politics has been as divisive as the decision to go to war to in Iraq. It remains deeply divisive today. I know a large part of the public want to move on. Rightly they say the government should concentrate on the issues that elected us in 1997: the economy, jobs, living standards, health, education, crime. I share that view, and we are.

How to make the liberal media and the dems really crazy?
Put Tony Blair in ads for President Bush.

And Kim Il Jung, plus assorted axis spokesmen who are rooting for Kerry.
You'd think that would tell the American people something when enemies back Kerry.

You'd think.
Probably most Americans aren't paying attention just yet so we must keep information like that on the front burner.

The real point is that those who disagree with the war, disagree fundamentally with the judgment that led to warNot quite. Most that disagree with the war are opposed to all war in any circumstances - hence the need for a quailifying question before letting them weigh in on this war.
Most of the anti-war crowd wouldn't pick up a baseball bat to defend their own neighbor from being raped/mugged. Their opinions on Iraq and the WoT are invalid.

Their opinions on Iraq and the WoT are invalid. Only to clear thinking people apparently as the media slobbers all over them to "get the truth!"
In this post Timeout does some investigating, then writes a letter...
I just wrote this email to the Washington Post ombudsman:
I became curious about these 9/11 victims criticizing Bush's ads. So I spent all of one hour on Google and found out quite a lot about their politics...information that was never mentioned in articles and interviews. Surely your reporters have better search resources than I do. Paul Fahri's WashPost article sympathetically quoted Rita Lazar and Kelly Campbell. Would readers have been interested to know that both women were arrested, with other 9/11 family members, at an anti-war, anti-Bush rally in Washington in March,'03? The Post reported their arrests.
Lazar appears on a website called "Republicans Not Welcome" whose purpose is to organize protests at the RNC convention in New York. Both women are active in "Peaceful Tomorrows", a politically active 9/11 group with funding ties to the Heinz Foundation through the Tides Center for Western Pennsylvania.
Lastly, in Paul Fahri's article he described the political button the 9/11 families wore at last year's protest: "They wear U.N.-blue peace-sign buttons with the vertical line of the peace symbol rendered as the twin towers".
An unbiased press might at least have been curious enough to do the basic research I did. Especially when the info is in its own archives.
I know he reads his email....wait-and-see time.

It's an excellent speech. Heck even the Guardian editorial staff have admitted as much.

I was just looking at the Wall Street Journal real estate ads, I realized that Miami would be a likely terrorist target. Lots of immensely rich Americans and other rich westerners, and many Jewish Americans.
Were'nt some of the 9-11 dirtbags living in Florida for a while?

Thanks for posting the OpinionJournal article.
AP has hundreds of outlets, all pushing their "news".
Regular, multiple sources pushing the viewpoint of the good guys would be a big help!

Impressive speech by Tony Blair. Indeed, and from one I've not previously thought of as one who'll be thought of as a PM for the ages, but as a man more for his own time. But if he keeps the position for a while, he may well grow into it.
Then, most recently is the attempt to cast doubt on the attorney general's legal opinion...
I wasn't even aware Britain had an Attorney general. It seems somehow that there'd be another designation, somewhat more, well, British.
