Someone asked for a statute of limitations for Treason. Article 12 states that there are certain crimes for which there are no statute of limitations, one of which is treason.
As to pinning the crime on him: I'm uncertain. We would have to get two witnesses to testify against him. Considering the ideologues we have here, I'm not certain if it's possible.
Yet according to the definition of Treason, Giving Aid and comfort to, or Adhering to the enemy are both grounds for treason. Given Kerry's actions, we might be able to pin him on two counts.

The author of Tour of Duty said on C-SPAN the other night that not many people know that Kerry stayed in Uniform after he returned from Vietnam (as an assistant to some officer). He supposedly got out of service when he wanted to run for Congress.

This may have been covered elsewhere but wasn't Kerry still a member of our armed forces when whe went to Paris to convort with our enemy? Yes, he was still a membe of the Idividual Ready Reserve, and still held his Reserve commission. However that fact doesn't make what he did any more illegal under the Logan act. It may however cause a provision of the 14th amendment to kick in, and deny him the power to be President, or even a Senator for that matter.

This is not to say that all soldiers have departed Vietnam with the same feelings about their military service. Certainly not all veterans of this war are New Soldiers. Not all want to be or even understand what many of their veteran contemporaries are trying to say. IOW, all soldiers committed atrocities, but only some regret it. barf
