I might be wrong about this, but I think the Tides also helps fund the Violence Policy Center -- the gun-grabbing group of pinkos that floated that phony AWB renewal survey ostensibly sponsored by the Family Consumer group used by the gun-grabbers in the Senate a few days ago.
