I agree. But it's not going to stay that way.
I'm sick of the current situation. I want everything I can dream up that a combined stereo/radio/television/computer can do in a device that fits into my palm and that I can take everywhere, including scuba diving.
I want a wall sized display in every room of my house. On those displays, I want to be able to view multiple video inputs, decorative scenes, my current favorite picture slideshows, satellite feeds of weather and troop movements, maps, stock market numbers, my current work projects, the latest book I'm reading, my current video game, the movie I'm watching, my mother-in-law's phone call, outside views of my house (security purposes), my vital signs etc etc.
Information input/multimedia experience could be so much more than it currently is.
