Let's save the vivitrol for when there is a need for it.
If you could do that, it would be really great. Thanks.

I fully expected every poison pill amendment to pass the Senate since it is so closely divided, there are 1/2 a dozen or so RINO's and the Rats brought Kerry & Edwards back for the votes. I still think the entire purpose is to kill the entire bill, not pass the AWB or anything else.
I'll put my trust in Tom Delay on this one. He has promised numerous times to kill the AWB and Delay is a man who fights for what he believes.
And just as a note, Bush has supported the AWB since 1999. He hasn't recently come out in favor of it. So for everyone who is screaming "I'll never vote for Bush again if he signs it", check and see if you voted for him in 2000. If you did, then you obviously didn't do enough homework on President Bush's 1999-2000 platform.

You posted this, "Oh here we go, a Patriot Act nut who thinks the govt. is setting up video cameras in his bedroom." and you're telling Spotty to save the vitriol??
Give me a break. Isn't your exhortation to save the vitriol rather like the pot calling the kettle black?

You know what? The faster our "leadship" gets the message we are genuinely fed up with their lack of backbone in supporting our gun rights, the better. I, for one, will NOT hold back and wait till they do whatever they believe is poltically expedient! Our elected representatives are in in office to reflect our positions and views. If they can't take the heat, let them pump gas or otherwise get the hell out of office.
Too many Americans are too willing to roll over and play dead. Last I heard, the Government was there at our pleasure not some self-serving beaucracy!
What I do see is a serious and steady erosion of our American rights. Time to stop this cold!
