I understood quite well what you were saying. CFR is either a non-issue or a huge political concern, depending upon what you happen to be arguing at the time.

Apparently you don't. CFR as passed was a feel good measure(reform, get money out of politics, yada, yada, yada) and to the average Joe it does not threaten them in any way. And when you thump your chest and scream "this is the end of the world" people will say, "big deal".

Likewise, if it had been vetoed people would have said *shrug* "big deal". But in your view, suddenly the dynamic changes and the vetoed bill becomes a political hot button. Coincidentally, that works to benefit your argument (while defying all logic).

How...convenient.
