Earlier, Tim referred to Susan as "my wife." What's that all about?

He did not refer to Susan as his "wife". I believe that he called her his "friend". They are not now and never have been married. They are just a bastard child factory.

I, too, thought I heard Robinson call Sarandon his wife. I heard him call her his friend, too, but I'm pretty sure he said wife first.
