What we've learned from your post is that if a Jew does not think or behave a certain way he is in error, or worse.

This is the first time I've ever responded to God here at FR so I'm quite honored.

What I've learned from Free Republic is if a poster doesn't agree completely with the Isreal-first crowd, he/she is an anti-semite.

Nice try, Grendel. Go back to logic class. Your conclusion doesn't track from any premise, or from anything that I said.

A Jew who believes the tenets of his faith, as defined by Jewish authorities now, cannot also believe the tenets of Christianity. I consider myself a Jew who has had his Prophets fulfilled. I believe in the Prophets of the Old Testament. I also believe in the Truth of Jesus Christ. That makes me a heretic to Jews. By my beliefs I say that Jews who do not accept Jesus are wrong. I also believe that Mohammed was not a prophet but a self agrandizing bandit and murderer. Does that make me guilty of hate speech? Sorry, I guess then I'm not allowed to believe anything in your world.

Now, I happen to be a heretic among Christains, as well. I do not hold that those Jews or Muslims are eternally damned for their errors (as I see it). I believe that when they die they will learn the error of their beliefs and will regret those errors. God's love and God's judgement do not allow us to hide from the Truth. The shame of those errors will make them want to hide from God, which to me is the definition of Hell. The same is true of all "non-believers." It is also true of believing Christians, when we find out just what asses we have been at various times in our lives.

We have all failed. The difference is that I have belief in Jesus to cling to and that will see me through my doubt and self loathing. I will cling to Him as my rock and He will see me through. It won't be easy, but He will be there to sustain me, just as He will be there to sustain any who reach out to him. I believe that Jesus' message still holds for all of us, whenever we accept it.

God forgives us. His forgiveness is absolute. All it takes is to accept it. Whenever. Now that's my personal faith. You want to call me a hate monger for believing that? Have fun. It's not my problem.
