Thank you for sharing that as I struggled for a time with the "forsaken" passage and I've been studying it. Here's something that I found that I'd like to add:

The pain of Jesus being seperated from God for the first time must have been, well, I don't pretend to imagine.

How right you and Chuck are. I see the violence being emphasized and that concerns me ... there are other concerns about this movie as well ... .
