I can believe that Jesus was a real person, and that the events of his life as listed in the Bible are generally historically accurate, and still not be convinced of his divinity. There is no evidence outside the Bible and direct relationships that Jesus ever existed.

Well, the Bible itself contains multiple corroborative testimonies that the events did happen. There are no accounts that the events in question (particularly the events surrounding his death) -didn't- happen. We also have 2000 years of those events creating the largest religion in the world.
What, do you think the -entire thing- was completely faked? Lemme guess, was it by a bunch of oil guys in Texas?
That seems rather tin-foil to me, honestly.
