There was a Jewish Rabbi on Scarborough, last night who said that the accusations of antisemitism in the Passion, stem from the apparent lack of Biblical knowledge on the part of those making the accusations.

Several of the Jews on AOL's Passion board call Rabbi Lapin a schmuck. I thought he said some good things.

The anti-Passion Jews are mostly the secular variety and as Rabbi Lapin pointed out, not very well versed in either Biblical history or their own Torah. This anti-Semitism complaint against the Christians is being used by the left as an emotional hot button, much the same way that the Islamo-fascists use the Muslim religion to inspire hatred of Americans and Jews.

It's too bad that so many Jews can't see through this ploy.
