Freedom of speech does not mean you can poop in public....if someone wants to start an x-rated radio station, let them.....and make those who want to listen to it pay, bigtime.

With freedom of speech comes responsibility. There's no reason or excuse for base vulgarity. I'm sick of it.

Every once in awhile I used to tune inrto Howard to see what was going on, and after about five minutes I'd change the station. All it was, was inane, juvenile ramblings that I found totally boring.

Your concept of free speech is pure fantasy.

Private property trumps speech. You are not free to speak in my house, nor on anybody elses property. You must have permission to speak. If you are offensive (judged by the property opwner)you will be removed from the property.

Clear Channel removed Stern from their property.

Do you prefer to retain the concept of private property?

Clear Channel is NOT the government or their agent. They are using their business judgement to "fire" or "drop" Howard Stern from their business. IF they get enough complaints... they can fire anybody they chose.

He who pays the piper calls the tune. Howard's tune turned TOO SOUR! So, bye-bye, howie!!

If I had made my employers mad, you can bet they would have fired me.

Too bad poor Howard will take this out on George Bush... but that figures... Howard is a liberal after all... maybe he will endorse John f'ing Kerry!!
