Just a thought (and I'm far behind all of you)- could the "covered up" earthquake have been- not a nuke or explosives- but our own attempt to vent the caldera? (Which partially succeeded) The March 21 "practice alert" actually a second attempt?

I don't think so, as the mystery quake occurred on the opposite side of the state, almost as far away from Yellowstone as you can get and still be in Wyoming.

If it were, they wouldn't tell us a thing. If it were a mine explosion, why aren't they releasing the name and location of the mine?
