Good news and bad news. I figured out how to create a seismogram from raw data on the date and time [or any other] from this MOD station in CA. The bad news: nothing on it but a straight line for that parameter. A 5.6 WOULD have been seen on my seismograms as I used every parameter of waveform for both regional and distant settings.

Even changing the "amplitude scaling" to emphasize even small quakes, the 1903 UTC shows no unique event on 2-6-04

Hmmmmm. A straight line? No random noise? Interesting.

I'm concerned about the strange thing the dog did in the night...

Nice work!!!

Hmmmmmmmmmm.

There's a lot of conflicting info. This Mitch fellow has e-mails and tapes of telephone conversations with USGS personel admitting there was an event, but insisting it wasn't an earthquake, but rather a mine blast.

Is the straight line straighter than it should be?
