You are correct, people would rather smoke a joint and "Chill out"......... Any thing to forget.

I didn't do the joints or alcohol, but read books to forget it all, now those books are coming back to haunt me.

I remember WW2, my dad was a mechanic and we lived at San Ysidro, while they were building the airport and he also worked in the shipyards.

I didn't go to work with dad at the ship yard, but did at the airport. Other girls played with dolls, I got the 5/16th socket wrench for him. In those days we had "Monkey Wrenches" too.......LOL.....how is that for age.

I think the Monkey Wrench is the forerunner of the crescent wrench... (note that muslim word).

By the end of the war, my favorite days were spent on Otay Mesa, at the airport there, playing in the wrecked airplanes.

As I was only pretending to fly, (was 30 years old before I took my first flight), the guards left me alone. But I have long known and felt the souls of the pilots who flew those planes to fight a war.

I don't remember the names of the airports, one of them was Ream Field, not sure which.

So I have always known what real war was all about and have known for years that we would one day fight it on our American soil.

Or we can join the one world party (communist) and become robots who do as told or die.

I am an American 3/4 Cherokee, so my soul cries out for "FREEDOM", not for a clinton wannabe to tell me how to live and think.

Yes, the jihad is worldwide.

Here's an oft forgotten front, especially since the violence dies down somewhat in the winter.

This spring will be the acid test of Pakistani resolve in restricting and not encouraging the flow of jihadis into Kashmir to kill and maim.

JAMMU, Feb 28: Four militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) were gunned down by the Army and police in Surankote while two others surrendered before the troops in Mahore today. Three members of a family were arrested by the security forces for giving shelter to the militants in Shahdara Sharief.

Official sources said an encounter took place this morning between Army personnel and the militants at Dara Sangla in Surankote in Poonch district. Assisted by police parties, the troops zeroed-in on the militants and challenged them in an isolated area this afternoon.

A heavy exchange of firing between the two sides continued for two hours in which four top militants of the Lashkar outfit were killed while two others managed to escape.

The security personnel, who didn’t suffer any casualties in the operation, continued searches for two militants, who escaped during the gun-battle. The militants, however, remained untraced, the sources said.
