I have heard that this is a dream time, but I don't associate it with an Indian belief.
Not that it means much, as I have much to learn.
If I had someone to feed me, I could do with less time away from google.
LOL

Isn't Spain helping in Iraq?
Maybe it is Italy that I am thinking of.

Spain has troops in Iraq, Granny, but latest reports are blaming the ETA or Basque Seperatists for the attacks.
Gotta go to work now...have a great day

Yes Spain is helping in Iraq. I was watching BBC channel this morning and they mentioned that fact.
I was just getting ready to post this info. about what they are saying about the stock market today. Does anyone have the information about the Stock Market activity priot to 9/11. I remember that after 9/11 determinations were made about unusual activity. Anyway, I was watching the market yesterday and in the morning it was down about 17....in the afternoon it was down about 30....and within 30 minutes at the end of the day it was down 162. If anyone else has been watching the odd market actitivty the last few weeks, please let me know. I wish that I had more time to look into what is driving this odd activity, other than the drivil that is being reported about earnings.

Madrid explosions turn futures lower; investors await economic reports.
March 11, 2004: 5:53 AM EST
NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Terrorism concerns could weigh on U.S. stocks Thursday after a series of explosions in Spain killed scores of people, with some pending economic reports also looming as a factor in the market.

This is devasting. IMO, this has Al Qaeda written all over it, especially if it turns out that they are suicide bombs. Simultaneous bombings is AQ's MO. Not to mention that Spain has been one of our staunchest allies in the war on terror and has arrested many AQ operatives.
To: all4one
Even if it turns out that this is not AQ, my fear is that if this bombing has a deep negative impact on the world markets today, AQ will see this as a success and may try to emulate it elsewhere.

I don't follow the stock market, maybe it was Sean who was, or he may have been watching the gold.
I know the stocks and gold had some type of activity around 9-11, but not the real info.
I don't understand why Madrid would effect our stock market.
Could only be the middle of the week sell-off.
I have learned that Fridays often bring a lower figure and then on Monday it will climb again.
My suggestion was always to buy dirt.

131 People Killed in Madrid Explosions
by MAR ROMAN, Associated Press Writer
MADRID, Spain - Powerful explosions rocked three Madrid train stations Thursday just three days before Spain's general elections, killing 131 rush-hour commuters and wounding more than 400 in what officials called the deadliest attack ever by the Basque separatist group ETA.
"This is a massacre," government spokesman Eduardo Zaplana said.
In the first attack of the year blamed on ETA, bombs exploded around 7:30 a.m. local time in a commuter train arriving at Atocha station, a bustling hub for subway, commuter and long-distance trains in Spain's capital.
Blasts also rocked trains or platforms at two stations on a commuter line leading to Atocha. The government said there were four blasts altogether.

Seems so simple to me:
A company outsources jobs
Amricans lose
A CEO gets to reap the greed
Then sells the outsourced product to Americans
Solution: Get the list from Dobbs at CNN and no one buys from them, plain and simple!

Your right, it IS blackmail and can you imagine a CEO with integrity? Well, Dish has one! It also cut off CBS, awwww, they have given us grief forever, they can keep CBS!

I agree it's al Qaeda. The Basques are more akin to the IRA -- they announce their intentions. Further, they've already come out and denied their involvement.
As I mentioned elsewhere, it's a 3/11 spectacular...
