Sorry, one more. This one really struck me.

Once again, replace "Dec. 7th" with "Sep. 11th" and do you think this would be praised today?

My apologies if all the pictures I posted slow down your loading of the page. I'm on broadband and sometimes I forget what a pain it is to have dial-up.

Virus Hits Guests at Hotel in Las Vegas About 100 people, mostly from Hawaii, have gotten sick at the California Hotel

By Rod Antone
rantone@starbulletin.com

A virus has infected more than 100 guests of the California Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas since Dec. 3, a spokesman for hotel owner Boyd Gaming Corp. confirmed last night.

Most of the guests were from Hawaii, according to a Las Vegas Sun article yesterday.

"I can confirm the Sun's story ... and that there were Hawaii residents affected. ... That's the majority of the customers at the Cal," Boyd spokesman Rob Stillwell told the Star-Bulletin. "Exactly how many I'm not sure because I don't know the origins of all those affected."……

I have been keeping a listing of the train derailments since the beginning of January. There have been consistently 3-5 derailments a week since the beginning of January. There have also been significant derailments in Canada, Australia, UK and India.

Four Videos in Less Than Two Weeks Compromise Reputations of Leading Mexican Politicians (Payola & Las Vegas)

By Lisa J. Adams Associated Press Writer
Published: Mar 6, 2004

MEXICO CITY (AP) - In less than two weeks, four compromising videos have been released showing Mexican political party leaders and public servants accepting briefcases full of cash, gambling at the high rollers' table in Las Vegas and offering to procure business contracts for millions of dollars.

With the 2006 presidential campaign already under way, there is no doubt more such videos will be beamed into the living rooms of Mexican television viewers in days to come.
"Scandals have become our daily bread," analyst Leo Zuckermann wrote in the daily El Universal newspaper.
Questionable behavior by public officials in Mexico is nothing new. A long line of federal, state and local leaders have amassed enormous wealth over the years. The difference is the attention that behavior now receives…….

This weekend, I'm not the best source for info.

I'm out in the wilderness of western KY, drilling with the kids.

I've got Web access, but time is not my friend. I'll update as available, but latest we have is: there have been no regional alerts/warnings. This might just be a training event - we do those all the time.

Pakistan offers to share nuke know-how with Nigeria

ABUJA (Nigeria) - Pakistan's top military official on Wednesday offered to share unspecified military assistance and nuclear power with Nigeria's armed forces, the defence ministry said.

General Muhammad Aziz Khan, chairman of Pakistan's joint chiefs of staff, told Nigerian defence minister Rabiu Kwankwaso that Pakistan was 'working out the dynamics' to help Nigeria's armed forces 'strengthen its military capability and to acquire nuclear power', Nigeria's defence ministry said in a statement issued late on Wednesday.

The communique pointed out that Pakistan has nuclear-tipped missiles, but did not say whether Pakistan is offering such technology or if Nigeria seeks such weapons.

Nigeria's defence minister urged intensified cooperation between the two countries, adding Nigeria was capable of helping Pakistan train its soldiers, if needed, the statement said.

Gen Khan, who was in Nigeria's capital Abuja on a scheduled visit, explained to his counterparts that 'Pakistan had to take its destiny into its own hands to become a nuclear state because of the regular threats posed by hostile neighbours with special reference to the Kashmir conflict', the statement said.

One of Pakistan's top nuclear scientists admitted last month that he sold nuclear technology to Iran, as well as North Korea and Libya -- all nations on the US list of terrorism sponsors.

Nigeria is not at war or under any known threat from other countries. Under former army dictators, Nigeria's military was viewed as an international pariah for ruthlessly suppressing dissent. Involvement in African peace missions since elections restored civilian rule in 1999 has helped repair its image abroad. -- AP

Nigeria blows Pak cover on N-sale

AP[ THURSDAY, MARCH 04, 2004 10:21:52 AM ]

ABUJA: Pakistan's top military official has offered to share unspecified military assistance and "nuclear power" with Nigeria's armed forces, the defence ministry said.

Pak has offered to give military assistance to Nigeria.

Gen. Muhammad Aziz Khan, chairman of Pakistan's joint chiefs of staff, told Nigerian defence minister Rabiu Kwankwaso that Pakistan was " working out the dynamics " to help Nigeria's armed forces "to strengthen its military capability and to acquire nuclear power," Nigeria's defence ministry said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The communiqué pointed out that Pakistan has nuclear-tipped missiles, but did not say whether Pakistan is offering such technology or if Nigeria seeks such weapons.

Nigeria's defence minister urged intensified cooperation between the two countries, adding Nigeria was capable of helping Pakistan train its soldiers, if needed, the statement said.

Khan, who was in Nigeria's capital Abuja on a scheduled visit, explained to his counterparts that "Pakistan had to take its destiny into its own hands to become a nuclear state because of the regular threats posed by hostile neighbours," the statement said.

The communiqué did not elaborate and officials of Nigeria's presidency and defence ministry did not answer their phones.

The announcement came less than two months after Nigeria's vice presidency announced that North Korea agreed to share missile technology with Nigeria, an offer that was subsequently denied by North Korean officials and downplayed by a spokeswoman to Nigeria's President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Papaya’s natural enzymes can actually digest over 2,000 times their weight of starch!

Now, high-potency Super Papaya (Freeze-Dried) is combined with natural Peppermint and Chlorophyl for refreshing breath…After each meal, reach for Super Papaya Enzyme tablets, the natural aid to better digestion.

I took a course in natural herbology Ma and both of the ingredients you posted are defitely for stomach woes. I used to live on papaya tablets and chewed them after every meal. But does anyone else look five months pregnant eternally after having your gallbladder removed, also is IBS typical for gallbladder removal? I've had stomach ailments for about 30 years!
