The California GOP has a convention twice a year?
Yeah, I've never understood this either. Trust me, they could have ONE convention every 2 years and there would still be plenty of 'yawn' time.
But, the delegates like seeing each other and discussing the latest gossip about the hit fliers that were distributed about RNC Committeewoman Doe or how Congressman X is going to have the best booze in his suite tonight, etc....
Yup. One in February and one in September.
Could be. Or they could hold it once a year, but it's onlt a halfhearted, semi-convention.
Or it might be that they hold it in the back of a semitrailer truck's trailer, to the tunes of C.W. McCall's Convoy, perhaps....
Other possibilities are also worth consideration....
