"Hundreds of GOP loyalists booed the president at a rally where U.S. Senate hopeful Howard Kaloogian and his allies denounced Bush's plan to give temporary legal status to undocumented workers."

===

Were there any "Kerry for President" signs there -- there might as well have been.

This attack on President Bush is disgusting. Maybe Kaloogian shouldn't be running as a Republican.

The article should have read: "Hundred PRETENDING TO BE GOP loyalists booed the President". NO REAL "GOP LOYALIST" or even any half-sensible Republican WOULD EVER BOO PRESIDENT BUSH.

Actually they booed the Bush plan and not Bush. But I am sure had you been there we would have gladly booed YOU!

So, do you think that Kaloogian manufactured people to be angry about the U.S. government sell out of sovereignty and secure borders?

Or do you suppose that MAYBE the White House deal with Vincente Fox on this amnesty proposal is WRONG and OPPOSED by a majority of Americans?

hmmmm....?

Seeing as the President swore an OATH to "preserve and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God," and since Article IV of that document REQUIRES him to protect the states from invasion, perhaps it is Bush who is no Republican.

Were there any "Kerry for President" signs there -- there might as well have been.

Stupid hyperbole. Do you think we control the entire State electorate? If the President's proposal goes any further, he might as well write off the entire southwest. He did this to himself and knew damn well what kind of response it was going to get from his base and chose to do it anyway. Best he learn that it was a mistake and get Congress to bail him out of it before the election. We are helping him learn that.

This is supposed to be a representative government "of the people." Given that 70% of the people want illegals deported, just who the hell do you think you are telling us to kowtow just because of a rotten proposal from the President? Blind and self-destructive obeiscance isn't going to get him re-elected.

You know, until Bush proposed this "guest worker" legislation, I thought he walked on water. Yeah, I'll vote for him in November, but I'm really upset with him.

what I'm hoping is that the president takes a good look at his core supporters opinion about his proposal. Then I hope he reverses himself.

As for Benedict Arnold, he's a RINO. Real cute how he did a bait and switch on those drivers licenses. I like Kaloogian. I like him a heck of a lot more than Barbara Boxer...

This attack on President Bush ???????????

Are you saying that opposing illegal immigration is an attack on President Bush?? You need to think more clearly. This was a rally against illegal immigration and the mess it brings to America. Read the article.

Your buddies Schwarzeneggar and Bush are the phoney Republicans.

Driver's licenses and amnesty for illegal aliens are not traditional planks of the Republican Party platform. You'd know that, if you bothered to pay attention.

Gee Bill, I was surprised it took you this long to log in.

Why is wrong to boo a BAD policy? I thought that was our RIGHT? You can support someone AND disagree with them at the same time.

Unless you think that "pandering for votes" is the same as "standing up for your beliefs..."

If the government is not securing the borders of this country in a time of war, The government is not discouraging the terrorist, it is not stopping the entrance into this country, of terrorist sleeper cells. If the government is not securing the border, but instead, at the same time, IS pardoning 12 MILLION illegal alien criminals, it is not helping America.

If we can deploy 120,000 troops overseas to guard Iraq, we can deploy here, 20,000 and a fence - to guard America.

No Border - No Vote

REAL Republicans would never support illegal immigration. The true Republicans were booing a bad idea. That's what they were booing. Get over it.
