"Hundreds of GOP loyalists booed the president at a rally "
THIS is how it appeared in the paper, which gives great aid and comfort to the Democrats.
No, it puts Republican leaders on notice that we're not putting up with their c--- anymore so they'd better start listening to us or we won't be listening to them.

Blind and self-destructive obeiscance isn't going to get him re-elected.
Well done, CO! Blind and self-destructive obeisance leads to absolute tyranny.

It's just a lame attempt at game playing and lip service by this administration to halt the tide of the GOP's mutineers.
And it won't work. How can anyone vote for someone who thinks we're this stupid? Time to bounce the bum.
To: FairOpinion
"Hundreds of GOP loyalists booed the president " Those hundreds of GOP loyalists represent a few million GOP loyalists who don't agree with President Bush's pandering to Mexico and illegal immigration. This is America, we have the right to disagree.

You most certainly do. You also have the right to elect Kerry.
But are you sure you really want to?
BTW -- a great article about Rumsfeld and how the War on Terror is planned and fought. Do you think Kerry's Sec. of Defense would be like Rumsfeld?
'This is war,' Rumsfeld told Bush
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1083532/posts Donald H. Rumsfeld sat in a vault-like room studded with video screens and talked with President Bush as the Pentagon burned.
"This is not a criminal action," the secretary of defense told Bush over a secure line. "This is war."
Rumsfeld's instant declaration of war, previously unreported, took America from the Clinton administration's view that terrorism was a criminal matter to the Bush administration's view that terrorism was a global enemy to be destroyed.
Rumsfeld wanted a war that was fought with ruthless efficiency: special forces, high-tech firepower, a scorecard for killing or capturing terrorists. He had no desire to become the world's jailer. And he refused to be stymied by bureaucracy.
"The objective is to capture terrorists for interrogation, or if necessary, to kill them, not simply to arrest them in [a] law enforcement exercise.

I read it, Fair. I wasn't impressed. It would have meant something even a year ago. But to ignore us for three years and then try to kiss up because his numbers are low is an insult to our intelligence. The GOP needs to get with it.
To: ETERNAL WARMING
I guess his success in the war on terror, the tax cuts, all that means nothing, you would rather have Kerry nominate the Supreme Court judges, just so you can teach Bush a lesson, right?

Now that Mr. Gobernator has gone sideways on licenses, doing an about face from his campaign, Repeating this lie does not make it truth. In his campaign, Arnold was always forthright that he opposed the lack of security provisions and not driver's licenses for illegal in general. That you heard what you wanted to hear, or are delibrately misrepresenting his campaign-time position, is not his problem.

I understand the White House is also pushing Jones. I voted for Howard since he'd been a good Legislator. I don't know, however, if he can beat Boxer. She's a vicious compaigner who will call even someone as vanilla as Matt Fong "too extreme" for California. I'm pretty sure Jones *can't* win, though.
I'm not sure Boxer will ever lose until she decided to retire.

Most Republicans go along with Tancredo, and it is the 'fallen' Republicans who will vote for Nadar. This time around it could be Bush supporter's who are pushing the base away behaving rabidly.

Are you saying that opposing illegal immigration is an attack on President Bush??
Always...those of us who oppose the Bush 'policy' are called everything in the book no matter what we say.
