Back when I had a PC and was on MSN, I found out that MSN blocked regular email (no kidding). Try using a webmail interface and see if you can send attachments that way. It may be your ISP that's screwing up your email program. Just a thought. I switched to Earthlink and haven't had any problems (I also switched to Mac, which solved a lot of other problems), but the email was strictly an ISP issue.

MSN email blocks attachments that contain scripts. I don't know if there's a workaround. I do know from recent experience that you can't receive a Delta eTicket through MSN. Delta has known about this for a long time and refuses to stop sending attachments with scripts.

Since a lot of Freepers brag about disabling scripts, I'm not sure the MSN policy is evil. I can say that I've only lost one legitimate attachment for this reason in four years.
